COTTREAU, Alice Mary – 70, Yarmouth, passed away June 9, 2012 at home with her loving family by her side. Born March 28, 1942 at Woods Harbour, she was a daughter of the late Helston and Ora (Adams) Goreham. She is survived by her children, John, Albert (Donna), Chris, Karen (Daryl) Fitzgerald, Aaron (Janaina) and Alyson (Matthew), all of Yarmouth; grandchildren, Adam Cottreau, Morgan Cottreau, Devan Cottreau, Danielle Cottreau, Nolan Cottreau and Abbie Cottreau; siblings, Hattie Smith, Woods Harbour; Alma Walker, Ontario; Peggy (Roland) D’entremont, East Pubnico; Jack (Sandra) Goreham, Woods Harbour; Gary (Dot) Goreham, Woods Harbour; many nieces and nephews. Alice was predeceased by her husband, John Arthur Cottreau; daughter, Jean; siblings, Robert Goreham, Johnny Goreham, Erma Durkee, Chesley Goreham and one brother in infancy. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes and Crematorium Ltd., 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth where visitation was held Tuesday, June 12 from 2-4 and again from 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 8 p.m., where the funeral service was held at 1 p.m., Wednesday in the funeral home chapel, Father Henry Smollenarrs officiated.
