LANDRY, Frances J. (Amirault) - 91, passed away on January 26, 2012, after a brief illness at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading, MA. She was born March 16, 1920 in Amirault’s Hill, Nova Scotia, to the late Annie Genevieve (LeBlanc) and John Raymond Amirault. Frances, in addition to raising 4 children, worked for many years at Jocelin’s, which would later become Jordan Marsh. She and her husband, the late Ralph E. Landry, retired to Nova Scotia in 1978, where she stayed until 2001 when she moved back to Malden, MA. Frances leaves behind 2 children: Phyllis (Charles) D’Entremont and Ralph (Karen) Landry Jr., as well as 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Eugene, as well as her children Joan Landry-Nerden and Margaret Robinson. She was the sister of Margaret Goff of Melrose, Hazel Martel and John Amirault both of Malden, and the late Rose Glionna, Gilbert Amirault and Anita Meuse. A mass will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Amirault’s Hill, Father Maurice LeBlanc, c.j.m., officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Donations may be made in Frances’ name to the VNA of Middlesex-East, 607 North Avenue, Wakefield, MA 01880. Arrangements have been entrusted to H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home & Crematorium Ltd., Yarmouth.
