Fay Chow

CHOW
With great sadness, the family of Fay Chow would like to announce that she passed away peacefully on June 8, 2012 at Pioneer Lodge Nursing Home, Moose Jaw, SK. The oldest of four kids, she is survived by a younger sister, Bik Yuk Fong of Hong Kong, brothers Hin Hing Fong of Hong Kong and Chi Fong of Moose Jaw. Fay was born and grew up in Kaiping, China. Fay immigrated to Moose Jaw in 1959 when she was 24 years old; she married Ken the same year. They had three boys, Marshall (Karen) of Blind River, ON., Larry (Pauline) of Burnaby, BC., Gordon (Jenny) of Calgary, AB. and five grandchildren, Curtis, Ovina, Dylan, William and Sophie. Fay worked hard her entire life, she raised three sons while working as a seamstress. Fay was very proud of her sons and grandchildren. Her proudest moment was when all her children graduated from University and started working on their own. She enjoyed an early retirement in 1989 by spending time with relatives and friends in the Moose Jaw Community. She was the happiest being a Mother and Grandma. She greatly cherished the visits from her kids and grandchildren. A Celebration of her life will be held at W.J. Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Mr. Gale Chow will officiate. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff of the Dialysis Unit, Moose Jaw Union Hospital and the Pioneer Lodge Nursing Home for their wonderful care and support. In living memory of Fay, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home. Please sign the memorial register book at website: www.wjjonesandson.com (Obituaries).
