At Prince County Hospital, Summerside, Tuesday, June 12, 2012, of Thane Campbell Milligan of Miscouche, aged 79, husband of the late Verna (Harris). Born in Milo Oct. 14, 1932, he was the son of the late Albert and Sadie (Gillis) Milligan. Stepfather to Wendell (Lois) Smallman, Knutsford. Stepgrandfather to Joanne Vardy, O’Leary, and Jennifer (Shawn) Brown,Summerside; and great-grandchildren Taylor Vardy, Ethan and Ashton Brown. He is also survived by sisters Eudavilla Weeks, Pleasant Valley, and Joan (Wayne)MacDougall, O’Leary. Thane is a brother-in-law of Pauline Gard, Charlottetown, and Pauline Milligan, Kinkora. Predeceased by his parents, wife, brothers and sisters: Jean, Charlie, John, Suzie, Angus and Pearl. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours on Thursday from 4-6 p.m. The funeral will be held on Thursday in the Chapel at 6 p.m. Interment to follow in the Free Church of Scotland Cemetery, Milo. In memory of Thane, memorials to Free Church of Scotland Cemetery, Milo, would be appreciated.
