Watson, Floyde Harlan – 67, Upper Stewiacke, passed away June 11, 2012 at home. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Clarence and Pearle (Kennedy) Watson. Floyde had been an employee of Stelco Steel for 30 years, working mainly as a machinist. Upon retiring to Nova Scotia, he spent his leisure time enjoying four wheeling and playing pool.
Surviving are sister, Marilyn (Stan) Steeves, Upper Stewiacke; brother, Merle (Deborah), Shubenacadie; extended family, Michelle and Joe Elms, Monastery; Jessica, Elijah and Erica Manuel, Oakville, Ont.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Middle Stewiacke Cemetery with Rev. Carolyn Rushton officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Upper Stewiacke United Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
