WILCOX, EDWINA B. “WINNIE” - Winnie died on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the Kennebec Manor. She was born on August 25, 1918 in England and was predeceased by her parents. Winnie worked as clerk at MRA’s and then at New System Laundry of many years until her retirement. She was a faithful member of the First Wesleyan Church where she was often found on her knees at the altar Sunday morning. She also was a member of the Senior Citizens Group and Harambee Missionary Society at Main Street Baptist Church. Winnie is survived by her sister, Madeline Jennings {Winnie and Madeline married brothers, Heath and Harry Jennings}, son, Donald Jennings; daughter, Elaine Smith and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Winnie was predeceased by her parents; husbands: Heath Jennings Sr. (1968) and Ashley Wilcox (1996); son, Heath Jennings Jr.; daughter, Patricia Carson and sister, Phyllis Bray
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 10:00 am with the funeral service starting at 11:00 am.
