Larry passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 82.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, JULIE (Legault); his son DANIEL and his son Darren; his daughter ROSANNE (Lyle) Torgerson and their children Christine (Shaun) Hoffman and their children Dagan, Carter and Stella, Janelle, Darcy (Amy); his daugther PAULINE Osemlak and her children Kimberley and Matt: six brothers; Gilles (Jeanne) of North Vancouver, Andre (Doris) of Willow Bunch, SK; Gerald (Irene) of Welwyn, SK; Roger (Pauline) of Prince Albert, SK; Guy (Diane) of Maniwaki, Que; Henri (Aline) of Moose Jaw, SK: three sisters; Marthe Wolensky of Winnipeg, MB; Berthe (Oblate Sister) of Winnipeg, MB; Jeannine (Noel) Blanchette of Courval, SK.
He is predeceased by his parents; his mother and fathers in law; sons Robert and Paul; brother Leo; brother- in- law Roger Wolensky and a nephew Michael O’Reilly (Guy).
Larry was born in Lisieux, SK on November 10, 1929, the second of eleven children born to William and Therese (Beauregard) O’Reilly. He attended Maisoneuve country school and Gravelbourg College. He graduated with a diploma in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan in 1953. Larry and Julie married on June 24, 1957 and settled on a mixed farm in the Scout Lake area. They retired to their condo in Moose Jaw, SK in 1997.
Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Parish, 1064 3rd Avenue NW, Moose Jaw. Rev Rick Krofchek will officiate.
Interment will be held on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at 3:00 pm in St. Victor, SK
