Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, June 9, 2012, Daphne R. Colbourne of Carbonear, age 63 years. Predeceased by husband: Calvin, parents: Joseph and Rella Butt, brother: Graham Butt and sister: Inez Moores. Left to mourn, daughter: Velma (Lindsay) Parsons, Petawawa, ON; sons: Paul (Chancy) Moores, Calahoo, AB and Terry (Katrina) Moores, Paradise; seven grandchildren: Ashley, Blaine, Jordan, Kordel, Bailey, Rachael and Andrew; sister: Dola Callan, Long Cove; sister-in-law: Joan Butt, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Rev. Mark Janes conducted the funeral service on Monday, June 11 at St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment took place in St. James Anglican Cemetery, Carbonear. Donations in her memory may be made to the Newfoundland Lung Association.
