Irwin, Betty Irene late of Weyburn, Saskatchewan passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 at the age of 78 years.

Betty was born February 5, 1934 to Charles and Loretta Irwin. She was raised and resided in Weyburn all her life. As a young girl she liked to collect stamps. Betty was a faithful member of the All Saints Anglican Church. She loved to knit and enjoyed “word find” puzzles. In 1990 Betty moved to the Weyburn Special Care Home.

Betty was predeceased by her parents Charles and Loretta Irwin. She will be lovingly remembered by her cousin, Howard (Engsie) Van Dusen of Weyburn, SK; numerous other cousins and the Staff of the Weyburn Special Care Home.

A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM from Fletcher Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, Saskatchewan, with Marj McLeod, CLA officiating. Interment took place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Donations in memory of Betty may be made to the Saskatchewan Council of Crippled Children and Adults.
