The family of Noreen Moberg invites you to join them in a celebration of her life on Saturday, June 30th at the T’it’q’et (Julianne Hall). The celebration will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will follow with remembrance, sharing of stories and refreshments.
Noreen was a member of the Lillooet and Native communities for many years. She worked for a time at the Lillooet Hospital as a nurses aide. She loved working with small children, and this was evident in later years as she doted on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Noreen leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Robert Edward Moberg, her son Robert Carl Moberg (Shellyann), daughters Cheryll Moberg, Patrika Watkinson (Bob Gibson), Shelly Lynn Moberg (John Selby) and Gayle Moberg.
One of her greatest joys in her last years were her eight grandchildren Justin, Patrick, Eddie, Derek, Devin, Ryan, Jonina and Shane, as well as her great-grandchildren Dawson, Carter, Jan Jeffery, as well as a large extended family.
Noreen was pre-deceased by her father James Connauton and her mother Nellie Bernadine Connauton (Barrett). She was also pre-deceased by her brothers John and Dennis Connauton. Her brother Robert (Bob) Connauton passed away two months to the day after Noreen left us. They are now united in heaven. God bless them. In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation in remembrance of Noreen be made to the Canadian Cancer Agency.
