BROWN, KENNETH NORMAN - The passing of Kenneth Norman Brown occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on June 13, 2012 at the age of 58. Ken was born in Fredericton, NB on November 10, 1953. He was the son of Ralph and Mary (Donovan) Brown. Ken went to school in Lincoln and Oromocto and worked in a wide variety of fields, including auto body repair, tire repair, construction and taxi driver. Ken loved the outdoors, motorcycles, fishing, food, big family meals and celebrations. Ken had a fun sense of humour and loved to share a laugh with others (often at his own expense). Ken is survived by his father Ralph, mother Mary, brother Graham (Barb) and their children Tyler, Heather (Josh) and Jocelyn, sisters Beverly (Ian) and Tammy (Ryan) and their children Lance and Kennedy, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Ken spent the last year of his life at the Terraces on Cliff. The family wish to express their thanks to the management and staff of Terraces on Cliff and Doctor Everett Chalmers palliative care unit for their kindness and care.
Although there will be no visitation hours, relatives and friends are welcome to join the family at a memorial service for Ken which will be held from Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Interment will be held at a later date. For those who wish, donations made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
