Oct 31, 1933 – June 10, 2012. After a short battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Max Sooley, of Hearts Content. Max is survived by his wife of 60 years Jean and his children: Dave (Charlene), Ida, Greg (Bonnie), Curtis (Leanne), Al (Lynn), Rick (Ellen), and Audrey (Eugene) as well as 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Max is also survived by his siblings Sadie (Alec Rowe), Mabel (Jack Smith), and Beattie all of Hearts Content, NL and his brother-in-law Curtis Benson (Jane) of Calgary AB. Max is predeceased by his parents Ralph & Elsie, his grandson Paul Bouchard, his sisters Greta and Ida (Reg Evely), his brother Lloyd (Rose) and his brother-in-law Doug Benson. Cremation has taken place and at Max’s request a private memorial will be held at a later date. If desired, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
