With sadness, but much thanksgiving for a long and wonderful life, we acknowledge the peaceful passing of our mother and grandmother Stella in Parkland at the Lakes, Dartmouth on June 12, 2012. Born April 13, 1921 in Upper Gullies, Conception Bay, Newfoundland to Florence (Petten) Scott and Noah Scott. Stella lived in NS since emigrating from Newfoundland in 1943. Stella was predeceased by her husband Clarence (aged 50), daughter Sandra (aged 18), infant grandson Dwight and brother Harry Scott, Upper Gullies, NL. Left to cherish memories of her life are daughters Betty-Anne (Charles) Gaetz, Musquodoboit Harbour, Heather (Collin) MacLean, Fall River and Marlene Bayers (Tom Hann), St. John's, NL; sister, Emily (Norman) Greenslade, Long Pond, NL; grandsons, Lorne & Lee Gaetz, Kendall & Niall MacLean, Geoffrey Hann, and great-grandchildren Katie & Maax Gaetz. Celebration of Life Service at 2 PM, Monday June 18 at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Musquodoboit Harbour. Rev. Trisha Ingram officiating. Family flowers only.
