Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on June 10, 2012, Baxter King of Lady Cove, Random Island, age 92. Predeceased by his wife Irene, parents Edward and Mary King, four sisters and two brothers. Left with fond and loving memories son Cecil, daughter-in-law Barbara, sister-in-law Lillian Pelley, and nieces and nephews. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Vera Abbott, took place on June 13, 2012 from the United Church, Lady Cove, with interment following. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy’s Funeral Home, Random Island.
