CHURCHILL, DOUGLAS WINSTON - Douglas W. Churchill of Moncton and formerly of Scarborough, ON passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital in Moncton, NB on June 17th, 2012. Born in Scarborough, ON, he was the son of the late John and Florence (Cowper) Churchill. He was retired from the Toronto Star Newspaper after working for 35 years. Douglas will be sadly missed by his wife Janet Cormier of Dieppe, NB, his son John of Tilsonburg, ON, his daughter Jennifer (Dan) Hamilton of Scarborough, ON, stepson Tom (D’Arlea) McDonald of Delta, BC, brother Jack (Gill) Churchill of Oshawa, ON, and sister Lorraine Churchill of Scarborough, ON, his former wife Deborah (Hiltz) Churchill of Toronto, ON, his grandchildren; John-Paul, Emma, Jessica, Candice and step grandson Dayton.
In keeping with Douglas’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. In Douglas’s memory, donations to any charity of your choice would be appreciated.
