It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marjorie Mary Martin announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center on Sunday, June 17th, 2012 at the age of 81 years. She will be sadly missed by her seven sons: Jerome Martin (Angie Walsh) in Labrador City, Clifford (Beverly) Martin in Brampton, Ontario, Gary (Valerie) Martin in Lisle, Ontario, Gordon (Agnes) Martin in Stephenville, Geoffrey (Elaine) Martin in Port au Port West, Aaron Martin in Cambridge, Ontario, Harold Jr. (Denise) Martin, Brampton, Ontario, eight daughters: Barbara (Andrew) Hynes in Port au Port East, Dianne (David) Dalby in Woodstock, Ontario, Rosella (Peter) Simon in Brampton, Ontario, Sandra (Thomas) Flynn in Port au Port West, Susan (Sean) Marche in Brampton, Ontario, Della Martin (Bruce Hynes), Stephenville, Chrisanne Martin (Tony Marche), in Fort McMurray, Stacey (Darrell) Barter in Arthur, Ontario, her five brothers: Isaac (Eileen) Hynes in St. John’s, Hilliard (Margie) Hynes in Noel’s Pond, Harold (Nina) Hynes, Bernard (Jean) Hynes, all in Port au Port West, Fintan Hynes in Corner Brook, two sisters: Margaret (Fintan) Hynes in Stephenville Crossing, Stella (Ray) Carey in Carbonear. Also leaving to mourn are her 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary, her husband Chesley, her sisters: Viola, Agnes, brother Joseph and her grandson Brant. There will be a private family service on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 2 p.m. from Russell’s Funeral Home Chapel, 39 Queen Street, Stephenville with Rev. Terry Rose officiating.
