Gladys Leamon
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gladys Leamon (nee Frampton) announce her passing on Sunday June 10, 2012 at the Queen Elizabeth II in Halifax, NS at the age of 68 years. She leaves to mourn her husband Abram; sons: Ronald (Lorna), Isle aux Morts, NL, Shawn (Georgina), Sackville, NS, Colin (Cara), Port aux Basques, NL, Bradley, (Jody) Port aux Basques, NL, and Jamie (Ann Marie), Eastern Passage, NS; grandchildren: Tristan (Stephanie Hardy) , Kelsey, Lucas, and Leah; siblings: Chesley (Maisie), Ellen, Angus (Joanne), Gloria (Raymond) Osmond, Marjorie, Jimmy (Alice) of Isle aux Morts, NL, Mabel (Alphonse) LeFrense, Dartmouth, NS, Eric (Delphine), Burnt Islands, NL, Deanna (June) Applin, Brig Bay, NL, and Charlene, Brampton, ON; sister -in-law Elsie Legge, Winnipeg, MB; brothers-in-law; Louis (Michelle), Halifax, NS and Hubert (Alice), Cape Ray,NL. Many nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends. She was predeceased by her parents James and Margaret Frampton, parents-in-law Abraham and Ellen Leamon , sisters-in-law Lavina (Alley) and Ellen, brothers-in-law Cecil and John, a very special aunt Corella Strickland of North Sydney, NS. Friends visited Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port aux Basques, on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held on Friday, June 15, at 2:00 p.m. from Wesley United Church, internment followed at the Wesley United Cemetery, Rev. Tara Ann Wilson officiated. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Wesley United Cemetery Fund.
