It is with broken hearts and great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Christine Beaver on Sunday, June 17, 2012, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, surrounded by family.
Born in Louisbourg, Feb. 12,1947, she was the daughter of the late James and Katie (MacIntyre) Hiltz.
Mary was a kind and caring person who was always there in a time of need. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a great friend to all.
Mary is survived by her husband, Hughie Beaver; son, Jamie (Tammy), Oromocto, N.B.; daughter, Kathy Lynn (Roddie) Wall, Louisbourg; and brother, Jimmy (Theresa) Hiltz, Bateston. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Jarett and Susie.
Besides with her parents, she was also predeceased by her sister, Cathy Rudderham.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation for Mary will be held from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, June 21 at St. Bartholomew’s Church, Louisbourg. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, June 22 at St. Bartholomew’s with Rev. Laura McCue officiating. There will be a reception following the service.
