(April 24, 1916 - June 18, 2012). Passed away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on June 18th, 2012. Predeceased by wife Greta; daughter Elizabeth. Leaving to mourn, daughter Barbara (Peter); sons: David (Linda) and Eddie; four grandchildren: Adam (Heather), Matthew (Leann), David (Gillian), and Jennifer; six great-grandchildren: Brandon, Thomas, William, Amelia, Leif, and Sara; sister Ellen Leonard; brother-in-law Ben Perry; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation to take place from Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday, June 21st, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. At Edward’s request cremation has taken place. No flowers by request.
