Passed away suddenly following a brief illness at the Health Sciences Complex on June 19, 2012, Steve Mandville, of St. Mary’s, SMB., aged 78 years. Predeceased by wife Betty (May 2011), parents Edward & Mary Mandville; brothers: Leonard, Edmund (Josephine), Cyril (Gen), sister Catherine (Gerry) Murphy and sister-in-law Angela Tobin. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories son Neil (Gloria), daughter Stephanie, brother George (Patricia), brothers-in-law: Peter (Lorraine) Mahoney, James (Anne) Mahoney, Ferg (Uriel) Tobin, sister-in-law Louise Mandville, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, including special relatives Malachy (Susan) Mandville and David Mandville. A sincere thank you is extended to Veronica Breen who was a tremendous help to “Dad” following “Mom’s” passing. Steve was a retired employee of Department of Transportation and over the years had been a devoted employee (and special friend) of Don Gibbons Ltd. Resting at Gibbons’ Funeral Home, St. Mary’s, on Wednesday, June 20, from 7 – 9 p.m., Thursday, June 21, 2 – 4 p.m., 7 – 9 p.m. and Friday, June 22, beginning at 12 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Friday, at 2 p.m., at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary’s.
