Laureen Dawn “Lori” Legassick
Lori Legassick, 52, of Fort McMurray, AB, wife of Peter Legassick, passed away June 15, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, NB. She was born in Sackville, NB, daughter of Lorna (Bellamy) Etter and the late Donald Etter.
Lori was an Administrative Assistant with Syncrude. She loved listening to music.
She is survived by her husband, Peter; mother, Lorna; one son, Richard Legassick; four sisters, Marilyn Downs (Bill), Port Elgin, NB, Linda Fury, Sackville, NB, Virginia Tingley (Austin), Point-de-Bute, NB, Rosie Landry (Edgar), Point-de-Bute, NB; one brother, Stephen Etter (Debi), Sackville, NB; two sisters-in-law, Judie, Hampton, Susan, Brampton, ON; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers-in-law, Keith Fury and Desi Legassick.
The funeral was held June 19, 2012 from Reid’s Funeral Home, Hampton, to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Hampton. The Rev’d Canon Kevin Stockall officiated. The organist was Patricia Mackay. Readings were by Lisa Fury Allen and Stacy Landry Hammond. The eulogy was by Dave O’Hanley. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery. A reception followed at the Hampton Legion Hall.
