Loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother – went to be with our Lord in the early hours of Wednesday, June 20, 2012 in her 89th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Harold J. House (1996), sister Millicent Stringer (Hubert), and great-grandson Tucker Maze. Left with cherished memories are children: Jane, Gary (Donna), Lorna (Paul), Marilyn (Stewart), Paul (Linda) and Mark (Donna). She will also be sadly missed by 12 grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue. Visitation to take place on Thursday, June 21st., 7- 9 p.m. and on Friday, June 22nd., 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, June 23rd at 2:00 p.m. from West End Baptist Church with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West End Baptist Memorial Fund. The family wishes to acknowledge the kindness and competent care of the staff on 4 West, St. Clare’s Hospital.
