Passed peacefully away at the Blue Crest Interfaith Home, Grand Bank, on Tuesday, June 19th, 2012, RACHEL FOOTE, of Collin’s Cove, Burin, NL, in her 89th year. Leaving to mourn her loving, daughter Edith Hodder (Enos), Creston South, son, Gary (Donna), Port aux Basques; 6 Grandchildren, Toby Foote (Mary), Brooks, AB, Trina Byrne (Colin), St. John’s, Karen Foote (Wayne), Grand Bank, Shawn Hodder, Ponoka, AB, Christopher Foote (Melissa), Montreal, Allan Foote, Edmonton, AB, 7 Great Grand Children, Josh, Victoria, Cameron, Cassidy, Taya, Zachary, Shelby, brothers Nathaniel and Cyrus Mayo, ON, sisters Verlie, Georgina, Marie, Marguerite, Shirley, ON, Alma, NS; nieces and nephews, and a large circle of relatives and friends.

Rachel is predeceased by her husband Alfred, son Terry, sisters Hilda and Mildred and brothers Lawrence, Stanley, Nathaniel, and Gerald.

Rev. Donna Lovelace conducted the funeral service at Zion United Church, Collins Cove, on Thursday, June 21st, 2012; at 3:00 pm. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery in Collins Cove, NL.

In lieu of flowers, in Rachel’s memory, donations may be made to Zion United Church Cemetery Fund, Collins Cove.

Pall bearers were Christopher Foote, Cameron Pardy, Colin Byrne, Trina Byrne, Allan Foote, and Josh Foote.
