The family of the late Harold Clifford Edwards is deeply saddened by his passing after a heroic battle in the Cardiac ICU, QEII on Wednesday, June 20, 2012.
His strength was fueled by beloved wife, daughters, family and friends.
Born May 13, 1950, he was a son of the late Edward and Eva (LeBlanc).
He is survived by his wife Eva “Debbie” (Jenkins); daughters: Jennifer (Scott) Sangster, Bedford, Jill Edwards (Curtis Scaplen), Toronto, ON, Mandy Edwards, Oxford, NS; cherished grandsons Owen and Jake Sangster; brother Ed (Karen) Edwards, Upper Cape, NB; sisters: Pearl (Charlie) Williams, Halifax, NS; Marilyn (George) Campbell, Trenton, NS, Shirley (Ed) Patterson, New Glasgow; brother Bob (Lillian) Edwards, Lower Sackville. Harold also leaves behind many close friends from work (past and present), neighbours, fishing and hunting buddies, ATV crew and boating friends.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the QEII Foundation – Cardiac Care ICU or a nature based charity of your choice.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the many nurses, doctors and staff (Team Harold) at the Cardiac ICU, QEII. We also need to say thank you to all of the kind friends we made in the 5.1 waiting room. You will not be forgotten.
