Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on Thursday, June 21, 2012, Wallace Boone aged 69 years. Predeceased by his parents James and Selina Boone; his first wife Patricia (nee Thomas); parents-in-law: George and Mabel Thomas; brothers: Melvin, Hedley (Ruby), and Wilfred; sisters: Rohetta and Greta; and brothers-in-law Arthur Feltham, Raymond “Bud” Thomas, and Jay Butler. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Margaret (nee Sheppard); step-daughters: Amanda Patrick and Barbara Patrick (Calgary, AB); brother Freeman (Joyce); sister Marion Feltham; sisters-in-law: Ethel (Ches) Barfitt, Melba Boone, Dorothy Boone, Jean Thomas, Sylvia (John) Potter, and Beverly Butler; brothers-in-law: Wayne Snow, Howard (Wanda) Sheppard, Wayne (Fran) Thomas, and Brian (Mary) Thomas; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Karwood Retirement Center and Glenbrook Lodge, and to the Doctors, Nurses, and staff of the Health Sciences Complex (4 South A). Visitation will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Saturday, June 23, and Sunday, June 24, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from Wesley United Church on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
