MARSDEN, NATHAN GEORGE - The death of Nathan G. Marsden of Oromocto, NB occurred on June 22nd, 2012 at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Halifax, NS. Born March 4th, 1962 in Pembroke, ON, he was the son of Nathan and Melvina (King) Marsden of Oromocto, NB and husband to Brenda (Henderson) Marsden. For twenty years Nathan worked at UNB in the Harriett Irving Library. His passions included working on his '66 Chevy Half Ton and riding his motorcycle. His love of hockey could be seen when he was playing old timers hockey or when sitting at home cheering on the Habs. Nathan is survived by his wife, Brenda of Oromocto; his children, Josh (Stacy) of Meadow Lake, SK and Jenna of Lincoln, NB. He was a loved 'Grankie' to Emma and Brooke Marsden; brother to Bev Henderson (Doug) of Oromocto, NB, Roger Marsden (Lorilee) of Rusagonis, NB; son-in-law to Sylvia Henderson of Oromocto; brother-in-law to Donald Henderson (Angie) of Oromocto and Paul Henderson (Maureen) of Fredericton. Nathan was predeceased by his father-in-law, Donald Henderson; grandparents, Rueben and Annie King and Simeon and Emily Marsden.
Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 26th, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 27th, 2012 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Ken Weir as celebrant and Canon Walter Williams assisting. Interment will be in the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery.
