It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jack Cook announce his passing at his residence, on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the age of 78 years. He will be sadly missed by his two sons: Geoffrey (Elaine) Cook of Port aux Basques, Gregory Cook of Stephenville, four grandchildren: Megan (Jonathan) Osmond, Gregory (Trina), Adam, Nathan and four great-grandchildren: Desmond Cook, Madeline Osmond, Cohen Cook,and Seth Cook, one brother, Fred (Doreen) in St. Johns, one sister, Evelyn (Myron) Boucher in Portland Oregon and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Thelma, parents, Fred and Isabelle Cook, brother Charles, sister, Jean Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Monday, June 25th and Tuesday, June 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, June 27th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, Hillview Avenue, Stephenville with Rev. Canon Dawn Barrett officiating. Cremation will take place after the Funeral Service and Interment will take place on Thursday, June 28th at 11:00 a.m. at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Bay St. George Sick Childrens Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
