Passed peacefully away on Monday, June 25th, 2012, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital C.C. Unit surrounded by his loving family, Richard Forristall, aged 69 years. One of the great joys Dick had was working as a firefighter at the St. John’s Airport for 32 years. Another joy was his loving family. Dick is predeceased by his parents Richard and Mary (Colbert) Forristall, brother Robert and special friend Kathy. Left with fond and loving memories are sons: Richard Jr. (Yvonne), David (Tammy), Mark and daughter Samantha (Justin) and their mother Sharron; brother Clifford (Jean); nephew Paul (Krista), Emma and Liam; niece Lisa and his loving sister Sheila; four grandchildren: Janelle, Cole, Davey and Eileen and a large circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to take place on Friday, June 29th, 2012 from St. Patrick’s Church, Patrick’s Street at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in his memory to a charity of one’s choice.
