Passed peacefully away at the John M. Gray Centre on June 23, 2012. Mr. Reuben Albert Patey of St. Anthony, NL, in his 87th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his brother Edward Charles Patey; nieces Donna Fowler (Roger), Yvonne Dunphy (Bruce), Loretta Pollard, Lynette Pollard (Hank), and Kimberly Patey (Darryl); great-nieces and nephews Tom (Karen), Angela, Michael (Stephanie), Michelle (Adam), Sarah (Will), Susan, Kayla, Kurtis, and Erin; great-great niece Bria; sister-in-law Elizabeth Patey and a large circle of family and dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents Elijah and Janet, brother William, and sister-in-law Rita. Visitation was held at the funeral home in St. Anthony followed by the funeral service which took place at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 25, at The Church of St. Mary The Virgin in St. Anthony with Rev. Marlene Harvey officiating. Interment followed in the new Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd., St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
