CORMIER, DORICE - 1921-2012 - Dorice Cormier, 91, of Cocagne, wife of the late Eric Harégan Cormier (2010), passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Friday, June 29th, 2012. Born in Cocagne on April 5th, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Maxime and the late Marie-Blanche (Despres) Leger. She will be sadly missed by her four children; Rose-Marie Cormier, Annette Leger (Omer), Pauline LeBlanc (Aldéo) and Leonard (Bernice) of Cocagne, her nine grandchildren and five great grand-children. She also leaves to mourn one sister Dorina Arsenault of Cocagne, one brother Alcide of Cocagne and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son Normand, four sisters; Aline, Rita, Alfreda, and Therese and one brother Omer.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Cocagne on Sunday, July 1st, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Monday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Cocagne Church on Monday, July 2nd, 2012 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery. In Dorice’s memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Foundation.
