AYLES, ELAYN VIOLET - Elayn Violet Ayles, 94, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 27th, 2012. She was the wife of the late John Aylesford Ayles. Born in Amherst Shore, Nova Scotia on November 23, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Charles Huntly Ogden and the late Ethel Ogden (Keith). Elayn will be missed by her daughter Janice Ayles of Montreal, two sons; Cedric Ugene “Ted” Ayles and his wife Ann of Shediac, NB and John Greg Ayles and his wife Doris of Victoria, BC. Mom will be missed by her sisters Lynn and Leona, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Beside her parents and husband John (1999) Elayn was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service conducted by Rev. Charlotte Youland, will take place at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow the service in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations in Elayn’s memory may be made to a memorial of the donor’s choice.
