Spinney, Harriet Emma “Hattie”, 98, of White Point, Queens County, passed away on Sunday, July 1st, 2012, in the Queens Manor, Liverpool.
Born in White Point, she was the daughter of the late William and Alice (Rabey) Doggett. Hattie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a great great grandmother. She was a member of the Wesley United Church, Hunts Point and a life member of the U.C.W.. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by daughters Mildred Cook, of Port Alberni, B.C. Gladys (Francis) Mansfield, of Liverpool, Carol (Borden) Whynot, of Liverpool, Alice (Walter) Kempton, of Port Alberni, B.C.; sons Douglas (Eva), of White Point, Barry (Wanda), of Milton; twenty one grandchildren, many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Lewis; sons Donald, Laurie; brothers Austin, Almond, Harry and Raymond. Visitation was held Tuesday, July 3rd, 2012 and a Funeral Service was held on July 4th, 2012 followed by a reception, all from Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Reverend Neil MacDonald officiated.
