Ritchie Lewis

LEWIS, RITCHIE - Ritchie Wayne Lewis, 56, of Salisbury passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 surrounded by his family at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton he was the son of Jean (Colpitts) Killam and the late Earl Killam. Ritchie was a salesman at Trites Equipment - Tractor Sales and Parts for 17 years. He was an active member of the Salisbury United Church, a graduate of the former Salisbury High School, a proud volunteer of the Salisbury Fire Department and a canvasser for the Canadian Cancer Society. Ritchie enjoyed woodworking, four wheeling and most importantly spending time with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years Brenda (Trites); son Ryan (Natasha) of Salisbury; daughter Lindsay (Julien Melanson) of Moncton; cherished grandchildren Jaedan and Willow; mother Jean Killam; brothers Terry (Angie) of Middlesex, Ward (Pam) of Middlesex, Andrew of Riverview; father in law Arnold Trites; sister in law Debbie Trites (Dan Compton); brothers in law Brian (Karen) and Kevin (Jane) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by father Earl Killam and mother in law Gladys Trites.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Thursday, July 5 from 6 to 9 pm and from where the funeral will be held from the chapel Friday, July 6 at 11 am with Rev. Dan Compton officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Friends of the Moncton Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family. www.keirsteads.ca
