O’KEEFE, THOMAS CHARLES – Thomas Charles O’Keefe passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on July 6, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Saint John, NB on June 5, 1954 to the late Roy John and Ann Elizabeth (Geldart) O’Keefe. Thomas was known to many in Saint John as a salesman at Cox Electronics. He was a workaholic, always thinking about the best for his customers. He is survived by loving wife Lynn (Graves) and their sons Craig Allan (fiancée Sara Golden) and Brian Andrew O’Keefe of Saint John; sisters Valerie Morand, Evelyn Ann Watters (Paul) and Pat Tracy (Doug Likely) all of Saint John; his granddaughter Sophia O’Keefe who was the apple of his eye; mother-in-law Shirley Graves; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers J. Beverley and Roy J. and infant daughter Jennifer Anne.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday, July 10 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9. A funeral service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 11 at 10:00 AM. Donations in memory of Thomas to the Heart and Stroke and Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
