MOORE, GERALD ELDON – Gerald Eldon Moore passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton on July 6, 2012. He was born in West Saint John, NB on April 7, 1930 to the late James and Elsie (Ross) Moore. He is survived by loving wife Shirley (Doyle); sons Christopher (Yvonne) of Salisbury, James of Fredericton, Michael (Jennifer) of Titusville, Gregory of Fredericton, Patrick of Cambridge-Narrows; daughters Lucinda “Cindy” Moore of Fredericton, Donna Jean Moore of Cambridge-Narrows, Anne Richard (Robert) of Bowmanville, Elaine Simpson (Darryl ) of Edmonton; brothers Richard (Betty) of London, ON and Donald (Cathy) of St. Stephen, NB; grandchildren Alicia, Michael, Thomas, Matthew, Madeleine, Henry, four great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Ed Doyle, several nieces, nephews, and friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by son Thomas Moore and brothers Ronnie, Glendon and Whitney Moore.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday, July 10 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Stella Maris Parish on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 12 Noon. Donations in memory of Gerald to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
