Leo Francis Cannon
Peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 8, 2012, of Leo Cannon of Pownal, age 83 years.
Beloved husband of Hilda Cannon (nee Gartner) and loving father of Cecelia Doiron (Gordie), Alfred (Linda), Kathy Dowling (Ralph), Gerard (Shannon), Anthony (Sheila), Leola MacCulloch (Peter), Christopher (Ellen), Carl, Urban (Darlene), Paulette Duffy (Brian), Lois Chandler (Paul) and Michelle Burley (Hugh). Leo is also survived by 45 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; brother - Wilfred Cannon (Margaret) and sister - Mary Doyle (Leo - deceased). He was predeceased by his parents - Daniel and Cecelia Cannon and brothers - William, Daniel and Harry Cannon.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Tuesday, July 10, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 11, at St. Joachim's Church, Vernon River, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Right to Life Association or Birthright would be appreciated.

The Knights of Columbus will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m.
