Peacefully, on Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Princess Margaret Hospital, in her 49th year, of Geraldine "Gerrie" Blanchard, of Toronto and formerly of Tignish. Beloved partner of Dana, cherished mother of Chris, Ashley and Fiona. Loved daughter of Johnny and Roseanne Blanchard. Gerrie will be missed by her siblings Maxime, Irene, Thelma, Anita, Darlene, Catherine and Christine. Gerrie will be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Wednesday, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Thursday morning, June 12th, from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, Celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery. If so desired, memorials to St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery Fund would be gratefully appreciated.
