At the Prince County Hospital on Sunday, July 8th, 2012 of Ida Mary MacInnis of Summerset Manor, Summerside and formerly of Borden-Carleton, age 73 years. Born in Palmer Road, P.E.I. on January 13, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Alfred Doucette and the late Marguerita Allain. Predeceased by her husband Lloyd MacInnis. Mother of Richard Joseph of Miscouche, Blake (Christine) of Winnipeg, Rodney Cedric of Borden-Carleton, Lisa Anne (Kenny) Dewald of California, and Tyson Alfred of Borden-Carleton. Grandmother of Paige, Grant, Graham and Anthony. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters living on Prince Edward Island. Predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Resting at the Lawless Funeral Home in Kinkora. Visitation on Wednesday July 11 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.. The funeral will be held on Thursday, July 12 at St. Peter's Church, Seven Mile Bay with the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m.. Following the funeral mass, internment will take place at Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery, Palmer Road at 1 p.m.. Donations in memory of Ida may be made to the Summerset Manor Equipment Fund.
