MOFFATT, Mary Cecilia - 92, of Antrim, formally of Forest Glen passed away peacefully on July 8, 2012 in Braeside Home for Special Care, Middle Musquodoboit. Born in Saulnierville, she was the daughter of the late William Jenkins and Elizabeth Vaccamberg. She was a devoted and loving wife of 60 years to her husband Vincent. After the death of her husband in 2004, Mary moved to Antrim to be with her extended family, Darren, Linda and Kenneth. Mary enjoyed dancing, gardening, hunting, camping, playing cards with her friends, doing words search puzzles, and loved cats. Mary was a member of the CB club. Her handle was “The Hill Toppers”. At the age of 88, Mary went on a trip across Canada, she really enjoyed seeing the Rocky Mountains. Surviving is her son, Gilbert Deveau, Yarmouth and her daughter, Jean (Millage) Nickerson, Tusket Falls; daughter-in-law, Bernadette, Amherst; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent and her son, Wayne. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes Ltd., Yarmouth. There was no visitation by request. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 11 at 11 a.m. at H. M. Huskilson's Funeral Home Chapel in Yarmouth, Deacon Stephen Bourque officiated. An interment was held in Forest Glen Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Musquodoboit Valley Health Foundation – Braeside or the Canadian Cancer Society. Special Thanks to all the staff at Braeside for the outstanding care given to our wonderful sweet Mary in the 10 months she called Braeside her home. Thanks again, God Bless you all.
