(March 24, 1962 - April 22, 2012), MD, MEd, FRCPC Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Professor, Department of Medicine, University of Ottawa, Assistant Dean, Academy for Innovation in Medical Education, University of Ottawa. On April 22nd Meridith passed away at her home in Ottawa with her husband Peter Bruneau at her side. A funeral was held on April 26th in Ottawa where family and friends gathered to say goodbye to a dear wife, friend and colleague and educator. In recognition of the circle of close friends and family here in St. John’s, a memorial service to celebrate Meridith’s life will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 13th at St. David’s Presbyterian Church on Elizabeth Avenue in St. John’s. A reception will be held in the church hall following the service.
