Hampton Birch
The death occurred at his late residence, on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, of Hampton Birch, of South West Lot 16, aged 92 years.
Born in Lot 16, he was the son of the late Sidney and Isabelle (Smith) Birch. Survived by his children Thane (Anne Marie) Birch, Summerside; Clare (Kathleen) Birch, Vernon Bridge; Linda (Carl) MacLeod, Miscouche; Bruce Birch (Wanda Wyman), Fredericton, N.B.; Sherry (Ronnie) Bigelow, South West Lot 16; grandchildren Michelle Birch (Gary Werpny), Nicole (Jay) Barberie, Dyson Birch, Lana (Dan) Rideout, Carson (Margaret) Birch, Meagan Birch, Ateesha MacLeod (Farrel Huculak), Dustin MacLeod (Robyn Mutch), Taylor Birch, Landon Birch, Nolan Birch, Jordan Bigelow, Logan Bigelow, Hannah Bigelow; "Grampie" "Gramps" to 10 great-grandchildren; step-mother Elizabeth Birch; brothers and sisters Thelma (Norm) Olsen, Reg (Ina) Birch, Blanche Finley, Betty (Erskine) Arsenault; sisters-in-law Pat Birch, Vivian Birch; special friend Regina Murphy; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his first wife Doris (MacDonald) Birch; second wife Rosella "Ella" (Gomm) Birch; brothers Byron, Eldon, Edgar and Gary Birch; sisters Pearl Birch and Ethel Kelly; and by his special nephew Eric Cameron.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in People's Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
