In tears we saw you sinking,
We watched you fade away,
Our hearts were broken,
You fought so hard to stay.

But when we saw you sleeping,
So peacefully free from pain,
We could not wish you back,
To suffer that again.

It is said that time heals all sorrow,
But we know that isn’t so,
Because it hurts as much today,
As it did eight years ago.

As angels keep their watch up there,
Please God just let her know,
That we do not forget,
We love and miss her so.

missed by husband Mose,
daughters: Gloria and Marion.
