The family of the late Ida Gertrude Pretty are sad to announce her passing at the age of 68 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, AB on Thursday, July 5, 2012. She lived in Labrador City, NL for 35 years with her husband Garry (deceased) and two children while working as a nurse at the Captain William Jackman Memorial Hospital. She was an active member of the local Anglican Church Women’s group and Girl Guides of Canada. She moved to Edmonton in 2006 to be closer to her children. She leaves behind many loving friends and family including her daughter Michelle, her son Edward, her sister Hazel, the Massey Crescent crew and her new Edmonton friends and neighbours. Funeral Services were held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Edmonton, AB on Wednesday July 11, 2012. Funeral arrangements were arranged by Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Edmonton, AB.
