FINNIE, GORDON DOUGLAS - Gordon Douglas Finnie of Woodstock, NB passed away at Ridgewood Veterans Wing in Saint John, NB on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at the age of 94.
Douglas is survived by three sons Alex Finnie; Malcolm Finnie; and Cedric Finnie; two daughters Leanda Harris and Shirley Finnie; one brother Carvel and (Paddy) Finnie; two sisters Connie Bell and Irma Hickey; six grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Doug was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Elsie (Henry) Finnie; wife Joyce Finnie; five brothers Vernon, Howard, Cecil, Otis, Blake; one sister Phyllis Frasier.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB. There will be no public visitation by request of the family. The funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2 pm from The Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Paul Brown will be officiating, with interment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery. www.scottfh.com
