At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, July 12, 2012 of Eric H. Parsons of South Granville, aged 84 years.
Born in Millvale on September 16, 1927 the last surviving member of the Alfred and Elizabeth (Wall) Parsons family. Husband of Joan (Smith) Parsons. Father of Beryl (Brian) MacNeill, Breadalbane; Barry Parsons (Amanda MacMillian), Kingston; and Wendy Parsons (John Burgoyne), Pleasant Valley. Grandfather to Jessica, Matthew and Jason MacNeill, Calvin and Emma Parsons, Garrett and Avery Lenahan, Breanne and Katelyn Burgoyne.
Predeceased by brothers, William, Walter and Beatrice, John (Jack) and Mary Parsons; and sisters, Virtine and Murdock Stewart, Marjorie and Edwin Abbott.
Brother-in-law of Carol Smith (late Alden), Gail (Everett) Burt, Erroll (Elizabeth) Smith, Opal (George) MacEwen, Ian Smith, Wade (Shelley) Smith and the late Kevin Smith. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Saturday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Sunday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment in the North Granville Cemetery.
