HAYWOOD, NINA JEAN - Nina Jean Haywood of Woodstock, NB passed away at Carleton Manor, Woodstock on Friday, July 13, 2012, at the age of 86. Born at Port Maitland, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Edward John and Marjorie Sarah (Mullen) Smith. Nina is survived by her husband, Rev. Eric M. Haywood; a daughter, Deborah A. Grant (Paul) of Woodstock; three sisters, Muriel McGuire (Owen) of Millville, Viola Lewis (Wallie) of Enfield, Nova Scotia, and Clara Bickford (Murray) of Nidualk, NB; two sister in-laws Annabelle Smith of Kalona, BC, and Faye Smith of Kanata, Ontario; grandchildren, Caitlin Grant (Billy); Toby Grant (Christy); Kelly Everett (Rodney); great grandchildren Austin, Alexis, Trew, Paxton, Emma and Alex; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Nina was predeceased by four brothers, Hartley, Durell, Melvin and Merle Smith; and one sister, Lillian Frost.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB , with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 2 pm from Hartland Wesleyan Church. Rev. Mel Norton will be officiating, assisted by Rev. Dale MacDonald with interment in the Greenwood Cemetery, Hartland, NB. www.scottfh.com
