Edna Alberta "Bertie" Jeans (nee MacNevin)
Passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Evergreen Nursing Home, Kentville, N.S., in her 97th year.
Bertie was born in Argyle Shore, P.E.I. She is sadly missed by Warren Jeans, her loving and caring husband of 28 years. Cherished mother of Blair Williams (Emily) and Lorraine Brown (Bob). Bertie was also the dear stepmother to Charlene Routledge, Greg and Calvin Jeans. She will be forever remembered by her grandsons, Gordon, Douglas and Scott Williams in Ontario and her granddaughters, Mary Collins in N.L., Diane Demarco in Ontario, and her eight great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, Jennie and Neil MacNevin; brothers, Robert and Leslie; and husbands, Leonard Williams and Calvin MacKinnon.
The family expresses their appreciation to the staff of Evergreen Nursing Home for the excellent care given to Bertie during her stay.
In accordance with her wish, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation at Belvedere Funeral Home, 175 Belvedere Ave., Charlottetown, on Wednesday, July 18, from 10 a.m. until the memorial service at 11 a.m. Interment in Argyle Shore.
