Passed away suddenly on Friday, July 13th, 2012 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, at the age of 68 years, Joan Elizabeth Janes. Joan was predeceased by her husband, Calvin and brother, John. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her son Norman, parents, Alberta & John Caines, her siblings: Randy (Ruth), Wayne (Joslyn), Jim (Laura), Kevin (Brenda), Jocelyn (Kevin), Debbie, Diane (Douglas), Annette (Derek); her sisters and brothers-in-law: Peggy Caines, Myra Jefferies, Daisy (Jim), Ford, Lillian (Bill), Tetzlaff, Hazen (Jane) Janes, Maxine (Jim) Moss. Also leaving to mourn are many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel today, Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. from where a memorial service will take place on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Noseworthy officiating.
