Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at home on Thursday, July 12, 2012, Joyce Shute of Harbour Grace South, age 76 years. A loving mother, dear grandma, ‘Aunt Joyce’ to many and a loyal friend to all – a truly beautiful person inside and out. Predeceased by husband: William; son: Craig; infant daughter: Minnie. Left to mourn, one daughter: Debbie (Greg) Haire, Harbour Grace South; two sons: Tony (Paula) and Dean (Chantelle), both of Harbour Grace South; daughter-in-law: Stephanie Shute, Harbour Grace; ten grandchildren: Melissa (Dean), Melanie (Jamie), Victoria, Brett, Brandon, Jillian, Kristen, Kelsey, Katie and Maggie; two brothers: Ralph (Ann) Parsons, St. John’s and Lloyd Parsons, Harbour Grace South; one sister: Blanche (Alvin) Drover, Upper Island Cove; brothers and sisters-in-law: Hayward (Joan) Shute, Wayne (Mary) Shute, Eileen Sheppard and Myrtle (Ed) Hayes, all of Harbour Grace South, Florence Newman, Upper Island Cove, Annie (Morley) Colbourne, Carbonear and Wince Bradbury, Upper Island Cove; lifelong friend: Beulah Spurrell, Harbour Grace South; a special young lady: Angie Lewis, Harbour Grace; as well as many other relatives and cherished friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Rev. Hugh Fudge conducted the funeral service on Sunday, July 15 from St. Peter's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace South. A private family inurnment took place in St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace South. Donations in her memory may be made to a Charity of one's choice.
