It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Shelby Christine Rowland.
She leaves behind her parents, Blair and Valerie Rowland; sister Lindsay (Jeremy); the love of her life, Nic Chabot; grandparents Florence and Barry Tait and Stan and Joan Rowland; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and far too many friends to list.
Shelby had a passion for the simple life that included her horses, family, friends and her Hemi! Her time with us was far too brief, but she left a lasting memory that will be with us always. We will hold on to her shy smile, her fiery love of her family and, especially, her wonderful laugh. She will be terribly missed by all who knew her.
Because of her life-long passion for animals, in lieu of flowers, we request donations in her name to the SPCA.
A celebration of Shelby’s life will be held at Coopers Green on Friday, July 20 at 1:00 p.m. Please bring finger food, a casual attitude and your best smiles. It is how Shelby would have wanted it.
